Well, it's been exactly 5 years since the released of No Time to Die and we are still without a 007. Since then, Amazon purchases MGM in 2022; gets full creative control of James Bond and announces an up and coming film to be directed by renounced film director Denis Villenueve. I've got to say, that while I have my reservations and doubts on the major changes coming to this franchise, I'm still intrigued to see what they come up with next.
As of Oct 25th of this month, the next 007 is reported to finally be announced in the up and coming days and while I am happy, I'm also nervous. We are now down to two actors to take over the mantle: Jack Lowden and Callum Turner. While I'm not that familiar with both of them, I do remember Callum Turner and...does not look the part at all, but neither does Lowden. This all being said, the important thing is the character of James Bond and not the actor playing him. If they can pull it off, all the more praise for them! At this rate, if having to choose, I will go with Jack Lowden. Damn, I should be betting money on Kalshi on this but I will just wait like everyone else for the end result.
